J&T Express Teams Up with Asmara Abigail for Digital Fraud Awareness Campaign

Jakarta, September 12, 2025 – The rise in fraud cases disguised as delivery services has prompted J&T Express to take proactive steps in educating the public. In this initiative, J&T Express partners with renowned Indonesian actress Asmara Abigail to launch a digital literacy campaign titled "3C: Cek, Curiga, Cancel."

Through this campaign, J&T Express encourages the public to stay cautious by practicing the simple 3C steps: Check to verify the authenticity of any information received, Cautious by carefully revieweing delivery details such as tracking numbers, and Cancel or immediately disregard and report any suspicious activity.

The decision to feature Asmara Abigail in this campaign is intentional. Known widely for her roles in horror films, Asmara has personally experienced being a victim of phishing. Her real-life encounter makes the message more relatable, underscoring the reality that anyone can fall prey to the growing threat of digital fraud.

This threat is becoming increasingly prevalent as fraudulent schemes diversify. According to Goodstats, in 2024 there were approximately 15 types of cyberattacks targeting Indonesia, with phishing among the most common. The logistics sector, particularly package delivery, has now become a new channel exploited by fraudsters to deceive the public.

"As a logistics company, we understand that customer trust is paramount. That's why J&T Express feels responsible to contribute in raising public awareness and protecting communities against fraudulent schemes misusing delivery services, including J&T Express," said Herline Septia, Brand Manager J&T Express.

Asmara Abigail also shared her personal story through the RJL5 podcast, presented in its signature horror tone. She revealed her own experience as a victim of phishing disguised as package delivery. Initially, she received an official-looking notification that appeared convincing and was tricked into submitting personal details, including her credit card information. Shortly after, she was faced with charges amounting to tens of millions of rupiah.

With this initiative, J&T Express hopes to continue being a trusted logistics partner that not only provides reliable services but also plays an active role in safeguarding the public from the growing complexities of digital threats.
