Supporting Student Business Development, J&T Express Holds a Competition and Business Incubator Program with a Total Prize of 380 Million Rupiah

J&T Express, an express delivery brand partner for small-medium enterprises (SMEs) online businesses in Indonesia, presents a creative platform in developing the SME industry in Indonesia through the J&T Super Seller program, a competition program as well as a business incubator to support SME businesses at the student level. The program, which will be held in March - August 2021, is carried out in a virtual manner where each selected participant will immediately receive 10 million Rupiah of business development capital per month during the competition, the total prize in this program is business capital development of 380 million Rupiah.

"The J&T Super Seller program is a form of support from J&T Express to young entrepreneurs in Indonesia to increase the success of their business development, especially in the midst of the current pandemic. We hope that funding since the beginning of the competition can overcome the current obstacles of young entrepreneurs in managing their business, such as marketing costs and product development. We also bring in business experts to provide guidance for participants in this competition."  said Herline Septia, Brand Manager of J&T Express Indonesia.

Supported by government agencies in this program, representative of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises also attended the press conference. "We appreciate the business incubator program intended for SMEs in Indonesia like this with the aim of building a creative entrepreneurial spirit and business sustainability. Incubator programs like this are needed so that SMEs are ready to grow when the market share has improved. " said Mr. Adi Daen Fahmi, from the Head of Business Assistance - Assistant Deputy for Business Consulting and Assistance, Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia.

Collaborating with a successful young entrepreneur and content creator, Arief Muhammad, as the icon of the J&T Super Seller program, it is hoped that this positive spirit can be widely accepted by the millennial generation. “I am very happy to be able to collaborate with J&T Express again and be part of the J&T Super Seller to support young people's business development, and spread the spirit of success at a young age. I hope that with this program many students will be more motivated to develop their business so that they will be more observant in seeing the moments of success and ongoing trends. " said Arief Muhammad.

Not only limited to business competition programs and business incubators, J&T Express will also hold the J&T Super Seller opening program, namely J&T Youngpreneur, a seminar program with offline and online hybrid concepts that presents successful young entrepreneurs in their fields to increase the enthusiasm of young entrepreneur candidates in 10 cities in Indonesia, namely Medan, Palembang, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Depok, Bali, Banjarmasin, Makassar and Samarinda.

The J&T Youngpreneur program this year was again held this year by visiting 10 campuses in 10 cities on March 8 - April 8, 2021. "Seeing the enthusiasm and success of this event previously in 2018 and 2019, we are holding this event again by adjusting to the current conditions so that even though there is limited space for mobility, the millennial generation still receives entrepreneurship education." said Herline.
